About The Program

Startup Camp is a summer program like no other—a 13-week, high-octane journey designed to push you to your limits. It’s intense, exhilarating, and, frankly, school will feel boring afterwards.

Forget syllabi, midterms, or cramming for finals. Building a company is nothing like school. It demands continuous effort, conviction, focus—and, let’s face it, a lot of coffee. One moment, you’re debating process flows and their impact on UX; the next, you’re drafting a strategic partnership agreement, only to dive into an urgent discussion about how the latest LLM methods might disrupt your plans.

Does it sound crazy? It is—but if you’re ready to dive into the deep end, even if you can’t swim, let’s go. You’ll learn to swim. Or build a boat. Or summon your inner MacGyver.

By the end of this journey, new doors will open, and you’ll face big questions: Do you go back to school? Keep building this company? Pivot? One thing is certain—Startup Camp will transform how you think, create, and approach the future.

Questions?

Some of the questions we hear most often and their answers:

Startup Camp teams are built around five core disciplines: Product, User Experience, Business, Engineering, and Graphic Design. Eligible undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in a college or university, as well as recent graduates, are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have a background in relevant fields or significant experience in their discipline.

Product—This role is for entrepreneurial individuals passionate about shaping ideas from the ground up. As a Product Associate, you will define the vision, identify user needs, and work closely with the team to create solutions that address meaningful problems. Your focus will be on championing the vision and aligning it with the team’s efforts to bring the product to life.
UX—Ideal for those studying user experience, human-computer interaction, psychology, or those with significant experience in a tangentially related field. As a UX Associate, you will focus on deeply understanding users, identifying problems and their root cause, and crafting intuitive, impactful solutions. You dream about user research and wireframes. Your superpower is empathy, and your mission is to make products feel extraordinary.
Business—This role is for individuals with a passion for monetizing product solutions and turning them into scalable startups. As a Business Associate, you will develop, test, and implement strategies for revenue generation, deliver the go-to-market approach, and establish the operational foundation. Your work will ensure the startup thrives financially and strategically.
Engineering—This track is for individuals studying computer science or engineering, or those with experience in software development. As an Engineering Associate, you will design and build the technical foundation that powers the startup's product, transforming innovative ideas into functional, scalable solutions.
Graphic—This track is open to those studying graphic design or with significant experience in the discipline. A strong portfolio is essential. As a Graphic Design Associate, you will define the visual identities of various startups, ensuring everything looks perfect—cohesive, compelling, and tailored to the audience. Your designs will not only bring ideas to life but also connect deeply with the end users, creating visuals that truly resonate.

Are you a ridiculously productive overachiever who loves a good rabbit hole?
We seek exceptionally motivated individuals to commit themselves fully to the program. Designed for self-starting, ambitious, and empathetic students, recent graduates, and young adults, the program offers the opportunity to work extremely hard in exchange for hands-on experience in building and delivering disruptive technology businesses—from ideation and planning to execution. Whether you’re a designer, businessperson, or technologist, you will collaborate closely with a diverse group of peers to develop and deliver a new product. This product will be pitched to, critiqued by, and approved by Fulcrum’s senior management team, along with outside executive advisors, mentors, and investors.
If this sounds too intense, Fulcrum GT also offers Junior Associate opportunities for those that seek a conventional internship.

To accommodate the academic calendars of as many top-tier schools as possible, Startup Camp operates on staggered schedules based on the country. The US program kicks off first, followed by India, and, finally, the UK programme concludes the cycle.
